I loved these photographs when I saw them during the critique, and I don't know if this is because of the photograph, but I think that maybe the silhouettes could be darker. I think that would emphasize the picture even more. The dog on the top is adorable, and I think you're headed in a really good direction, although I loved your silhouette paintings as well! Good job :)
Hey Maddie! Noelle here, I just wanted to say that these pieces are really amazing. When I first saw them on thursday I thought that they were pictures of real people and I thought that you had done some cool editing to make the subjects look dark. It made me wonder... :) but then you explained and I was wowed! I think you should keep moving in this direction, with the whole photography thing! Keep up the good work! <3 Noelle
I didn't actually see these during the critique cuz i think we were in different groups, but they look really cool. I love the contrast and all of the different tones of black you managed to capture to show depth. Great job Maddie. ~Charlie
